This year it will be observed September 13 (September is quite hot in Egypt), and the idea is to make fasting easier for workers by shifting business hours one hour out of daytime heat. • Clock positioning algorithm in taskbar improved. Non-necessary 2-pixel gaps are removed from top and bottom of the clock matrix, which allows for better arrangements of clocks. For example, stacking of clocks in 2 rows is now possible where it was not possible before (in narrow taskbars). 21 May 2007.
• New clock positioning algorithm allows for different heights of clocks, which is convenient when you want to display a date on one of them.

• Enterprise deployment improvement: Added an option to supply the location of default.ini file during installs or updates. This is how it works: put a customized copy of "default.ini" into the installer's directory and rename it to "enterprise.ini". This file will be copied by the installer over the target "default.ini" during install or update. 5 April 2007.
• Automatic update improvement: Added an option in default.ini to completely disable the update feature, which grays out UI elements and removes the "Check for update" menu. There is a global flag, which totally disables auto-updates, removes the menu command and grays out the settings section - just specify "updates_enabled=0" in the main section of the default.ini. (Yes, default.ini - zonetick.ini isn't involved). 5 April 2007.
