City DatabaseZoneTick World Time Zone Clock (starting with version 2.7) uses the free city database, in tab separated values (TSV) format from, http://citytimezones.infoInstalling the Most Recent Database
Note for Users of v3.3 and AboveZoneTick v3.3 and newer utilize automatic updates. Automatic updates include any changes to the database from http://citytimezones.info at a time the update is released. Automatic updates overwrite older time zone files. If you use v3.3 and newer versions consider making sure that the information on http://citytimezones.info site is correct. Changes will be automatically distributed to all ZoneTick World Time Zone Clock users.Modifying City DatabaseIf something is missing or is incorrect in the database feel free to submit a change request at http://citytimezones.info You can add or modify cities. Your request will be reviewed by other visitors of the site. Upon accumulation of enough approvals the change will be integrated into the database immediately.Please VERIFY your data before initiating a change request. You may use Google Earth to obtain exact latitudes and longitudes. One other source to verify data is Wikipedia. Make sure to read the site data modification guidelines. If you don't want to update the database yourself but want something to be corrected in it please let us know and we'll see what we can do. |
